If you are injured on the job you will be entitled to the benefits provided by Worker's Compensation insurance, which we carry on each of our employees (this coverage is required by law).

Direct Deposit is available to all A-Star employees at no charge.  Direct Deposit transfers usually occur one day ahead of payday!

Refer a friend to us and we'll send you a $50 check when your friend accumulates 100 work hours as an
A-Star employee.

Refer a new company to us and we'll send you a $100 check when your referral company uses A-Star employees for 100 hours.

Our service is free to the candidate.

If your service is free, how do you make a profit?
The companies to which you will be assigned pay for our services.

Wouldn't I get paid more if I sent my resume directly
  to the company I would like to work for?

Probably not. Most companies receive hundreds of resumes each month. They simply don't have the manpower or expertise to review and scrutinize the resumes they receive. That's what they pay us to do.

The fees that companies pay to A-Star Staffing do not come out of employee salaries. The fees are offset by other expenses companies face during the hiring process, such as the cost of the time lost in reviewing resumes and interviewing and the cost of advertising. A company can expect to pay between $3,000 and $10,000, or more, for each employee it hires. We can do it for less because of the economies we enjoy due to the volume of people we place.

There's a good chance that you will actually make more money by going through A-Star Staffing. As your agent, we make it our business to negotiate the highest possible pay on your behalf.

How often will I get paid?
Our employees are paid weekly. Paychecks are ready by noon each Thursday. You may receive your check as follows:
   1) Pick up at our office
        2) By Mail
            3) By Direct Deposit (available at no charge to our employees)
